Who writes this site
No tree company, arborist or tree professional writes or reviews the pages on Tyler Tree Service Pros. The research team pulls facts from the public sources listed below and cites each one on the page it supports. We are a referral service, not a tree company, and we say so on every page.
Where the facts come from
- Cost ranges come from HomeGuide’s national cost data, retrieved September 2026. These are national ranges, never a quote for your job, and we say so wherever a price appears.
- Permit and ordinance rules come from each city’s own published code, linked on that town’s page (for example Tyler’s Unified Development Code).
- Storm history comes from National Weather Service damage surveys and, where cited, local news coverage of a specific storm.
- Forestry and tree health facts come from the Texas A&M Forest Service and the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), a nonprofit that publishes tree care standards and runs the Certified Arborist credential.
- Insurance and storm recovery guidance comes from the Texas Department of Insurance.
- Utility safety information comes from each area’s electric utility (Oncor or SWEPCO) or rural electric cooperative.
How often pages are reviewed
Every page on this site is rechecked at least every 6 months, and the date it was last reviewed is shown near the top of the page. A page is updated sooner if a source changes, a law changes, or a reader flags an error.
Report an error
If a fact on this site is wrong or out of date, email hello@tylertreeservicepros.com with the page and, if you have one, a source. We will check it and correct the page.
