About Us
What started with a beat-up pickup and some borrowed equipment has somehow turned into Tyler’s go-to tree service. We are still the same team who used to climb trees for fun as kids! Most of our team were born and raised right here in East Texas, and we all know these trees really well.
We have seen pretty much everything over the past 15+ years, from helping Mrs. Patterson rescue her cat from that giant oak on Houston Street (the cat was fine, but boy did he scratch up Dan’s arms something fierce) to tackling emergency removals after that awful ice storm in 2021 when we worked 16 hour days for two weeks straight.
The way we see it, there’s tree cutters, and then there are tree people. Tree cutters just want to get in, cut, and get paid. We are actually tree people. We really care about doing what’s right for your home. Sometimes that means telling you that beautiful oak doesn’t actually need to come down, even when removing it would have made us more money!

The East Texas Difference
Here is something you might not know: trees in Tyler have their own quirks. Our sandy soil makes some trees grow differently than they do just 100 miles away. That massive pine leaning toward your house might look terrifying but could be perfectly sturdy, or it might be ready to fall tomorrow. You need someone who understands East Texas trees to tell the difference.
We have worked in every neighborhood from Azalea District to Hollytree, and each has its own tree challenges. The older homes around Broadway have those great 80+ year-old trees that need special attention, while newer areas often have trees planted too close together, which creates different problems.
One of our favorite projects was helping the Johnson family save their 100-year-old pecan tree after another company said it couldn’t be saved. After three years of careful pruning, cabling, the right root care and that tree is still producing pecans like crazy. Mr. Johnson still brings us a pie every Christmas.
We are licensed, insured, and all the important stuff. We have got certified arborists and the fancy equipment, but what really matters is that we are your neighbors, and we’re gonna treat your trees and your property like they’re our own. Because honestly, that’s just how we were raised!
